| Tantalizing Tanzania! |
| From the early days of humankind’s history, with her verdant mountains and scrubland plains, man has called the land of Tanzania home! |
| Tanzania not only makes you feel as if you have come home, but the vast spaces, the serenity, the abundant wildlife, and a feeling of total freedom allows one to rejuvenate their mind, body, and soul. It is an incredible country with unbelievable dramatic settings and sceneries! Tanzania is famed for its superb wildlife viewing, the Serengeti plains dotted with the iconic umbrella thorn, and of course the Great Migration. It has vast grasslands supporting prolific herds of plains game, targeted by Africa’s large predators. Tanzania is not just about a Safari; the snow-capped tip of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa also awaits you! In addition, after a Safari, a trip to the paradise islands of Pemba and Zanzibar is the perfect spot for weary travelers to reflect and revitalize. The Great Rift Valley cuts through the land, creating some of Africa’s largest lakes, such as Lake Tanganyika (world’s second deepest and second largest). In addition, some of the oldest skeletal remains of humankind have been found in Tanzania. With strong Bantu and Arabic roots, Tanzania is equally rich in history and culture, as it is in natural splendor. You will meet the notoriously friendly, tall, and proud Maasai with their well-known Kiswahili greeting “Jambo!” This is certainly Africa at its best…. tantalizing! |

| More about Tanzania! |
| Tanzania is the largest country in East Africa, and with such a perfect location, perched on the edge of the African continent, and facing the Indian Ocean, the weather and climate leaves nothing more to be desired. Warm and sunny days are followed by cool and balmy nights. Therefore, whether you are on Safari or on the beach, the temperatures are always welcoming and gentle. However, beautiful sun-filled days are not all that Tanzania has to offer. On the contrary, the country’s borders hold a vast number of people and tribes whose varied cultures and traditions make up the rich tapestry that is Tanzanian culture. Tanzanians enjoy a climate of freedom and peace in their daily lives, and highly value community and togetherness. They believe that religion is an expression of community and culture, binding us all as citizens to our country, and to the people around us. Tanzanians practice tolerance and understanding through all of their religions. Their culture and traditions can be seen in everything they surround themselves with, including the handicrafts that are the specialties of their country. |
