Gary Freeman was born in East London, South Africa, and is one of the leading guides (and an expert walking guide) in Africa. He has overwhelming passion and an extensive knowledge of the bush and wildlife. Aside from this, he is a fantastic cook and an overall true bush character!! |

Gary also plays a critical role in monitoring environmental changes within the regions he operates. Regular reports involving the condition of animals, plants, and soil assists management within the particular reserves to make decisions that add long-term value to these vulnerable areas. Rare bird and mammal sightings are also included in these reports.
His high standards, organizing ability, exceptional knowledge, along with his sense of humor makes for a most fantastic traveling companion. Due to Gary’s extraordinary experience in leading walking trails over the past years, and as a Safari company owner, he has the necessary confidence and experience to accompany his Guests whilst guiding them on
